Update on my life

Work is finally, starting to slow down and go back to normal. First, there was the madness of Christmas, followed by the madness of inventory. After that it was time to pack all the Christmas up, then there was the moving stuff back around to normal and making everything look good. Now things will likely get really slow to the point we may not have any sales up in the gift shop part. Anyway, enough about that.
I am working on reading through the last book I read. This is where I try to make sure the layout is right, small spelling and grammar corrections, and that everything is coherent and I don’t repeat myself and such. Ideally, I should do this quickly so everything is fresh in my mind, but I’m struggling this time around. It is two to three times longer than some of my other stories, which is part of it, but I also find I don’t want to do it, and I lose focus and interest. (I start to miss stuff then so powering though is not always the best option.) It’s not that I don’t like this story or think it's bad in any way, it’s just not holding me as well. I have been working on it for something like three years, when I have written two to three stories in one year, before, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I got myself a book of all the Brother Grimm Fairy Tales. Some of them I have read before, but I have forgotten some too.
This time of year I try to work on crafts and things at home. I have been making stuffed animals for Farmer’s Market, and I have a puzzle laid out on my table. I keep getting distracted with other things, but I plan to listen to the audiobook of Howl’s Moving Castle one of these days. I’ve seen the animated movie, but from what I have read, I think the book might be better.
Until I write again, God Bless.
