Same old, same old

Work fluctuates between being normal to being crazy and all over the place, then back to normal. Hopefully, it stays normal now, but I won’t hold my breath.

The volleyball anime I mentioned last time is good enough I got myself the first three seasons. There will be at least one more season. It is all about volleyball, and I am not a sports person, but it goes beyond that. It’s a slice of life which I love. They do pretty good about making all the characters different, and there are a good number of different characters. Some of the character types are pretty different too. One character, Tsukishima is very snarky, to the point of being rude, and you don’t like him at first. But as the story goes along, you want to like him. It might depend on you wither you like him in the end or not. Another character I find fun is Asahi. He’s a big dud and a powerhouse on the court, but in person, he’s the biggest softy of all of them. It’s not exactly a weird or unusual character type, but it’s one I still enjoy. (The anime also acknowledge that he looks like a full-grown man, often having people point out “He looks like a grown a** man!”)

On a personal note, I am really thinking about getting a dog. It will have to be something pretty specific to fit into my life and wants. I do have a breed in mind. I’m praying about it, and we will see. I think a companion would be good for me, especially with the long winters we have here.

Well, that’s all for now. Until next time,

God Bless
