Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July. I debated writing this week because I don’t really have much to talk about. With summer, life becomes busier. Farmer’s Market will start this month for me which I am looking forward to but will make things busier for me too. This month I only have one weekend off too. (The lady I work with needs my other weekend for a family gathering and funeral, which I totally understand and am fine with.) My gathering to watch the Chosen had been small but still good.

The only recommendation I can make is that I found some more Fruits Basket content. It’s all digital. One was another chapter to the Fruits Basket Another. From what I could find it sounds like the author might continue to make some more works following that storyline, which, if so, I am very interested in. At first when I started reading Fruits Basket Another I thought it was more just fan service, which is ok, but Fruits Basket is so good and this was just not on the same level. It was in the third book that things got deeper and this new chapter brought up stuff that could be really interesting. (People, who do bad things in the past and later change to become a good person, will still have to deal with the consciences of past wrongs. Just because you are now good does not mean the bad gets erased and many will not forgive and forget.)

The other thing was Fruits Basket the Three Musketeers. It’s just for kicks and giggles. Lots of 4th wall braking. If you read it, the bit about the smartphone killed me. I read it late last night and could not stop laughing.

Other than that I don’t have much to say. I still have my own temptations/problems I am working on. The Lord is good.
